A few fine days in Cornwall

We have been so lucky that Richard's uncle and auntie let us stays in their caravan in Treyanon bay, Cornwall, what is more, we have been double lucky that the weather was exceptionally nice for England for the whole 4 days! Sunshine, beach, seafood, family, what more you want?
Even the kids were really nice, both slept until 8-9 in the mornings treating us to lie-ins. Then you opened the curtains and look at the sea. Really nice.
Before we left Benji was counting how much he still has to sleep until holiday and every time we mentioned that word, he became enthusiastic though I don't think he actually knows what "holiday" means. While we were there he called the caravan holiday, for example he asked at the beach "when are we going back to the holiday?" or while we were in there he asked if we staying in the holiday :-)
Of course he didn't go into the water, although we tried...but as soon as the waves come out and touched his toes, he run a mile back into the beach.
Instead he had fun making sand shark with his dad, he enjoyed crab hunting (and catching a really big one) and of course eating ice cream. Which we had to have every day as he spotted the "ice-cream ban"s from far away. You realise how grown-up he is as he walked as much we did, and some days we walked a lot, and he didn't moan, just walked and walked. Although sometimes that slow, that any slower and that would be stopping.
Unlike his brother, Robin loved the water! Any little puddle and he went in with hands and knees, eating about half a kilo of sand meantime.
He was also very good (except when he fell down on the caravan stairs and bumped his had and scratched his nose), also good when walking and didn't moan. Only Daddy was the moaning one while walking as he had to carry his 12 kilos on his back which was burnt the second day (because the stupid "no-i-dont-need-sunscream-this-how-I-get-brown")
But let the pictures talk:

We have even been on a boat, and have seen a seal!

The famous sand shark
The enthusiastic and the not so enthusiastic crab hunter
The catch
There is the big crab.
and our three little fish

At Tintagel castle, amazingly nice...

....although there were loads of steps up and down the hills, and of course I have left the nappy bag right on the top....but Richard was a hero and went back up and brought it back down

Going home, knocked out
