Second day

The first day in nursery has come, well the second day in reality if we count last week's couple of hours into this. That is what they call settling in period in England, so set off with a big lump in my throat and a huge self guilt in my heart. Only Benji was happy, as he couldn't wait to show off his nursery to his little brother. First Robin was smiling too, as he was happy that he wasn't left behind in the car this time. Then he become more and more suspicious as we were getting through the door, especially when we waved goodbye to Benji and he had to go through the door to his room.
First he was standing there holding my hand unsure, until one of the girls started calling him to the breakfast table. I gave him a quick kiss and waved the little low-lipped face goodbye, then made a quick exit to the car to cry.
I couldn't wait to get into the office to call them how he coped, apparently he had a little cry but they could change his mind with a bowl of dry cheerios, and since then he is happy and playing.
I have got the same information when I called them in the afternoon, he is happy, playing, ate everything, and slept and hour.
Jayne said the same when she went and pick him up, apparently he didn't even want to come home! Well done little-big Bobin! (of course now my mind worries what if he doesn't have enough bond with us and that is why he settled in so easy...)

Benji also made us proud this week,he has drawn his first recognisable picture, and of our family!:

(If anyone would think that the little lines between the upper body and the legs are belts, I have to let them know that they are "bandages, because we have scars in our tummies because we hit them in a plane" (?!))

And a little Benji talk for the end:
We are travelling in the car, Benji is talking to Richard:
- Daddy, are you going to work now?
- Yes Benji
- What are you working?
- I am fixing cars, I am fixing speakers.
He looks out the window, thinking...then turns to him:
- But you are my Daddy!

(We still don't know if he meant that being a Daddy is a job in  itself, or Daddies are not able to fix speakers...)
