Star of the week

I have heard somewhere that people usually choose that season as their favourite in which they were born in. That is certainly true at me. I love autumn! The colours, the smell of the air, that you can smell someone burning leaves far away, the slight chill of the air in the afternoon, wrapping in a blanket on the sofa ♥
Grandma Joan might also like autumn the best as she celebrated her birthday as well over the weekend, with grandchildren and great grandchildren. ♥
And my Dad as well, but I can ask him tomorrow if it is really autumn which he likes as they come to stay with us for a week. As Benji would say, only one sleep left! ♥
Benji was star of the week at school, didn't really know what it is for, or why he got it up until today's ceremony. Every year every two weeks two children can be stars of the week. The parents could sit at the back row and listen to the teacher praising our children. The older ones for their nice writing, reading or swimming. And turns out Benji because of his kind and helpful behaviour towards their new teacher ♥ They had to sit at the front and stand up when the teacher talked about them, you could tell Benji was really shy but proud of himself. He was pulling funny faces and at one point I thought he will cry, we all know how much he doesn't like to be in the centre of attention. Love him so much and so proud of him! ♥♥
