He has gone to school

I had to let him go again a bit, one protective layer has been peeled off again..He will be at school every day from 9-15.00, which means that if I exclude sleeping time he will be spending more time with someone else's care than with us. This is a big trust. And a bit sad.
So far things didn't go as well, as 4 out 4 he cried every morning when he had to go in. He puts a brave face on at home and before, he tells me he won't cry, but as soon as the bell rings he starts hanging onto my leg, and I have to use my best persuasive tactics to send him into his room.
This is despite that his school is nice, there are only 18 people in his class, his teachers are lovely and every time I call the school half an hour after the bell rang they tell me he only cried for 1-2 minutes, and now playing with a puzzle or superheros.
But the day after the same episode happens, and he is telling me he doesn't want to go to school.
I so want to help him somehow, hug him, cuddle him up and run away, or find friends for him. But I can not. This is his own journey he has to battle through, I can only watch and support from the background. Until then my heart breaks a little quietly every morning when I see him sad..
