My sweetest 3 year old

He has trained himself onto the toilet leaving the nappy ages behind, he has started pre-school in his nursery, it was about time to become 3 years old.
We organised a get together with Richard's cousins for that day as we haven't seen eachother for over a year. The only day which was suitable for almost all of us was 1st of August so we couldn't avoid to celebrate Robin's 3rd birthday as well, and Danny's from two weeks earlier.
Robin woke up up not really suspecting anything twaddling down the strairs (oh how much I love when he wakes up, his eyes are still narrow with dream in them, the pillow left marks on his soft face and arms, he is still warm from the duvet and smells so robinish), we sang him Happy birthday and of course Benji was too enthusiastic to wait to give him his present which he chose for him (a St George knight and some pet monster thingies)
He said thanks dutifully for all his presents and loved opening them. He was happiest for the wooden train set he got from Nicola (not knowing he will get a better one soon with battery powered trains which all boys played with for a bout 5 hours)
Then the day become really busy with 8 kids, 16 adults and 2 dogs slowly arriving after eachother, we had lots of food, lots of presents and lots of kids noise, and lot to talk :-)
The day went really quickly and we even fit a little walk around Middleton Hall the day after before Pete and Laura went home.
Party to be continued in Rosy's birhtday and Robin's birthday to be continued in Hungary soon. But first lets go to Croatia tomorrow and let the holiday begin!
