We have managed to visit everyone, been in playhouses, theatre, cinema, at the Balaton, and managed to have lie-ins as well.
I think the boys liked the unlimited playing power at home, either Papi, Nagyi, or Dina was there to play table football, dividing Smurfs, counting and sorting "bird money" (5HUF coin has a bird on it), playing fishing for shoe-fishes by sitting in the old wardrobe as a hiding place, playing play-doh, chasing Dina, the shark, I don't even mention playing with ordinary toys.
Benji was also came with us to my grandma most nights on his bike, telling Csoda off on the way, checking the cars, and telling us which way to go. There he got his coat pocket filled with chocolate, biscuits which he never ate, just collected them.
Strangely he ate really well, anything and everything.
He actually has been a really good boy, most people commented how well behaved he was. I love his little innocent soul, that he is so excited by small things, like Edina's birthday, he couldn't wait for her to come back from work, when she came in, she run there, jumping and shouting out all the "secrets", like how her cake looks like, what she drew for her, and there are "looots of money" in a little envelope (which actually was a gift card, but was so cute as he was shouting that it is lots of money)
Although of course he had bad days too when he was pushing his boundaries, especially when he had to get dressed, come to bath, finish playing, but it was ok. The one thing I find difficult to deal with when I was alone with him that he talks continously. Literraly doesn't shut up for a minute. He has to count everything, I have to check how high or heavy he is, have to count how much he can jump on one foot, how far he can jump, how fast his turbo car is, how he almost reaches the ceiling. Anything, just so I look at him. It is ok when it is just us two, but there is little Robin as well, and I have to do other things during the day, which he doesn't care about, he just repeats the same things 60 times if he has to, until I say "ok" or "yes I can see".
He also started to fear of naughty people, especially at night, and started asking funny questions like if they are really far away, and that they can't come into the house, and it took a bit to reassure him that he is safe. But one night when I didn't come in until 11pm, he couldn't go to sleep without me, and didn't want to sleep in his bed until I got in.
Our little Robin on the other hand had made great friendship with Csoda the dog, he didn't let him out of his sight, followed him everywhere, gave him half of his biscuits, pulled his tail, his ear, jumped on his back, slept next to him on the floor, threw a tantrum front of the entrance door when we sent Csoda outside. He was the first to greet every morning when he woke up. It made me seriously consider to have a dog in our family somehow.
He still did everything which he is not allowed to, climbed on where he shouldn't have, ate things which are dangerous....etc. One day, we were having lunch when he walked in from the toilet waving the toilet unblocker pump...We didn't even know we had one..
He had few fretful days because he was pushing three chewing teeth at one. His mood was ok, but his bottom was so red I haven't seen before. He was crying for a nappy change as soon as he poo-ed, it must have been so acidic that it hurt him so much. It seems now we are over it.
As always, it was really good at home, and I already miss everyone, but it helped to feel at home again, that Richard cleaned the house top to bottom by the time we came back. Painted the doors, scrubbed the tiles, took off the Christmas decorations, made the beds, washed the remaining dirty clothes..etc. It was like entering into a hotel.... He must have been bored without us... <3 nbsp="" p="">
